I’ve been doing a series of paintings of deer lately, and well, cows too. With that, I’ve been playing with color. The first deer pice I did in this series is very muted tomes, often as you see deer in nature. I’m still debating whether I like it or not as it’s so muted. I may post it later for you to decide. After that, I started playing with color. This is one of those pieces. I do love the Mule Deer.
“Mulies Near Sullivan Creek” is an oil, 16 x 20. It will be available in my room – 176 – at The Outwest Art Show & Sale in Great Falls, MT., March 16 – 19. Hope to see you there!
