The First to BLoom 8x8 600px-blog

I am getting ready to pack up for the Big Sky Art Festival, which happens this Saturday, August 1st in Big Sky, MT. I’ve enjoyed doing this mosaic of smaller paintings, a good exercise for me mentally. The painting I’m showing you now is the second done from photos I had taken of Crocus sprouting forth in the early spring. I especially like this little painting. It is only 8″ x 8″ and is called “The First to Bloom”.
